App Services Switch
The App Services Switch enables highly reliable, secure and persistent communication, while still using HTTP and SOAP. Companies can interact with their clients and partner applications pro-actively to deliver real-time data and notification of events over the Internet as and when it occurs. This layer also manages the state/context. Applications that desire to connect to services made available with eTops can use eTops Client Plug or can use any standard SOAP client. Applications that use the Client Plug can take more advantage of features offered by the App Services Switch. App Services can be monitored and controlled for performance and usage.

App Services Manager
The App Services Manager provides automated version management of applications that connect to the Switch. It lets an organization to deliver client applications incrementally, instead of one large monolithic application. In this framework the component applications can be modified and deployed seamlessly. A System Administrator can create environments for testing and releasing such applications using the App Services Manager.

XMLT Engine
An extended XML Transformation Engine provides for dynamic transformation of data from one view to another based on pre-define rules. These views can be shipped simultaneously to different applications providing for a powerful "tear-away" data concept. Organizations can easily integrate this engine with existing applications.

Collaboration Engine
The Collaboration Engine provides powerful collaboration facilities where the consumers can "click-talk" and collaborate to the service provider's help desk. In a B2B scenario, users can collaborate with each other in a cost-effective manner. It supports both text/voice chat and sharing of applications in client-server and peer-to-peer modes of communication.

Client App Builder
Lets you build client applications with user interfaces that closely resemble real-life business objects such as a cheque book in a banking application. Applications built using the App Builder can be delivered to multiple devices. With the App Builder, developers no longer have to write different presentation logic for each delivery platform. The App Builder provides delivery capabilities over PocketPCs, which will be extended to other Palm based devices in future.
